S8+3 · In-line 3D Sputtering module

Tapematic S8+3 sputtering module will enable you to sputter three dimensional objects in a streamlined, efficient, automated and completely reliable process. Thanks to its unique load-lock design, it is capable of sputtering 3D items while simultaneously loading and offloading, thereby always maintaining the sputtering chamber in high vacuum.
Compared to the traditional evaporation process, the S8+3 is revolutionary. it produces no waste materials and uses only the very minimum amount of metal to achieve the same result with an ultra-thin coating. Application dependent, the system’s magnetic field is fine tuned to achieve the best possible performance in terms of reflectivity, uniformity, cycle time, and cost per part optimization.
Trays travel along a conveyor between the different modules. Up to 13 parts could be arranged on a single tray. New formats are quick and easy to set-up, and different configurations can be stored in the system for instant recall and fast changeover, enabling production short runs for greater flexibility.
