Public transport in Paris

We strongly recommend travelling to the event by Metro, tram, bicycle or bus – all operated by the RATP – in order to minimise the carbon impact of your visit.

Trains to Paris

Paris is at the heart of the European train network, with easy access on SNCF and Eurostar networks from the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and beyond.

TGV and TER trains with SNCF
High-speed (TGV) and local (TER) trains operated by the SNCF arrive in a variety of stations in Paris from all over France. All are on the Metro system.

The closest mainline station is Gare Montparnasse, which serves the south and west of France.

Eurostar

International Eurostar trains arrive at Paris’s Gare du Nord from the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.

Other travel options

Plane

We encourage you to travel to Paris by train instead of flying if possible in order to minimise the environmental impact of your visit.

From Roissy – Charles-De-Gaulle Airport:

Take the RER B train towards Paris and change at Cité Universitaire for the T3a tram, direction Pont de Garigliano, to Porte de Versailles, 

Alternatively, take the RoissyBus to Opéra, then the metro line 8 direction Balard to Balard. 

From Orly Airport:

Take the Orlyval train to Antony. From there, take the RER B train to Cité Universitaire and then the T3a tram, direction Pont de Garigliano, to Porte de Versailles, 

Alternatively take the OrlyBus to Montsouris – Tombe-Issoire and take the T3a tram, direction Pont de Garigliano, to Porte de Versailles

Car

Parking is limited and, in order to reduce the carbon impact of your trip, we encourage you to choose public transport options wherever possible.

Arriving from the outer ring road/Péripherique Extérieure
Exit at Porte de Brancion and follow the road signs to car parks.

Arriving from the inner ring road/Péripherique Intérieure
Exit at Porte de la Plaine and follow the road signs

To access Pavillon 7, you can park in parking PF.
