After international studies in marketing in Paris, Berkeley, Tokyo and Beijing and a design course at the Domus Academy in Milan, Christophe Pradère continued his adventure around the world by starting his career in South Korea as Marketing Manager for a French hygiene and beauty brand. Back in France after three years, he created the “Strategic Consulting” division of a packaging design agency, then joined an architecture agency as Major Projects Director. His career then led him to EURO RSCG Design where he was in charge of the general management of the agency, including the “CorporateBranding” and “Retail Design” divisions, working with the biggest French brands in the industrial, banking, retail and luxury sectors. At the end of 2000, Christophe Pradère took over a design agency positioned on the NTIC (New Information and Communication Technologies) markets and developed it on the prestige and luxury markets; he integrated it into the heart of BETC and renamed it BETC Design six years later.
As founder and CEO, he rapidly expanded the agency in France and Asia, and today employs 45 people.Christophe Pradère specialises in global design and brand management approaches, both in the creative and luxury markets, while keeping a strong focus on new technologies.Today, Christophe Pradère’s uniqueness lies in the fact that his approach to brands is based on human sciences and anthropology in particular, considering the brand above all as a cultural object. He has founded a new, holistic strategic and creative approach, embodied in the concept of brand rituals. This methodology enables the development of global and differentiating brand experiences across the entire customer journey by creating products, services and places. In addition to his agency’s development activities, he also works with several higher education institutions such as Marsons School, Essec and Skema Business School.
