BE the future: How to deplastify our industries – Moderated by Teresa Vargas Matos

During this talk at Paris Packaging Week 2025, Rosalie Mann will present solutions for de-plasticizing our industries, with a particular focus on the packaging sector, one of the two areas most dependent on plastic, along with textiles. She will analyse the impact of this dependence on health, the environment and the economy, while highlighting sustainable alternatives to initiate a transition towards more respectful practices. According to Rosalie Mann, it is imperative to rethink the use of materials in these key industries, because deplastifying the ocean starts with deplastifying our industries.
