Bastille Parfums has taken advantage of its new visual identity to reduce its carbon footprint.
The secondary packaging was completely redesigned (collaboration between FINEMAKERS and EGISA), moving from a rigid box (delivered assembled) to a folding carton delivered completely flat.
By switching from a rigid cardboard box to a folding carton delivered completely flat (a single-material solution), we have lightened the secondary packaging and reduced its size. With these improvements, Bastille Parfums, whose sales are mainly via the Internet (online), obtained a 39% reduction in the weight of the packaging, with a significant reduction in transport/shipping costs and minimisation of waste as well.
The other “eco” advantages are the very small quantity of adhesive necessary for gluing the folding box compared to the previous rigid solution + the use a FSC-certified paperboard, guaranteeing the responsible origin of the material.
