Not destruction but disruption is the solution to circularity in drinks packaging
- 26 January
- 9:45am - 10:15am
- Sustainability
- English
Sustainability at the forefront of environmental agendas and circularity in drinks packaging can’t be achieved just thinking of recyclable materials, but the entire value-chain needs to be disrupted. The linear or conventional circular ‘take-make-dispose/recycle/return’ model of packaging material usage has long been tried, however, this model still has loopholes that require disruption at almost every level of the value chain to truly contribute to the circular economy.
