We have been recognized for leadership in corporate transparency and performance on climate change by global environmental non-profit CDP, securing a place on its annual ‘A List.’ Based on data reported through CDP’s 2023 Climate Change questionnaire, Trivium is one of a small number of companies that achieved an ‘A’ rating out of over 21,000 companies scored.
CDP scores are widely used to drive investment and procurement decisions towards a zero carbon, sustainable and resilient economy. A detailed and independent methodology is used by CDP to assess these companies, allocating a score of A to D- based on the comprehensiveness of disclosure, awareness and management of environmental risks and demonstration of best practices associated with environmental leadership, such as setting ambitious and meaningful targets.
Trivium’s earned spot on the CDP’s A List indicates the dedication to high quality data that provides a holistic view of the value chain’s environmental impact. Leading in environmental transparency is just one step towards more meaningful and effective action.
“2023 saw record-breaking temperatures across the globe, extreme weather events, and unprecedented losses to nature, people, and business. Companies have a crucial role to play in driving transformative action on climate and nature, but we can’t manage what we don’t measure,” says Jenny Wassenaar, Trivium’s Chief Sustainability Officer. “Disclosure is the first step in effective environmental action. We’re are committed to transparency.”
