RISSMANN designs, develops and manufactures outstanding packaging made of paper – tailor-made carrier bags and boxes – that underlines the unique character of Luxury brands in cosmetics, perfumes, jewellery, fashion, leather, spirits and technology. Sustainability, E-commerce and digitalization are the 3 axes that guide the new developments of its internal design office.

RISSMANN relies on its German industrial plant, furnished with semi or fully automatic production lines. This constantly modernized high-tech equipment tool provides a high level of productivity, quality and responsiveness. RISSMANN also relies on its historical network of Chinese industrial partners, in line with its expectations of professionalism, quality and sustainability.

RISSMANN entrusts manual finishing operations to Hungarian workshops which employ people with disabilities, thus promoting their integration through work. Since 2022, RISSMANN has a new plant in Bulgaria, manufacturing shopping bags and boxes.

RISSMANN cares for people and nature, holistically and globally. The company is following REACH and EUTR regulations, is FSC certified and has been Ecovadis Silver evaluated. It uses solar energy, promotes recycled and recyclable, biodegradable and compostable materials, social actions and commitment.

Founded in 1855, RISSMANN GmbH was a Family business until it was sold 2016 to vph, a paper trading company and a member of the IGEPA Group*. RISSMANN employs approx. 130 people worldwide. The head office, the style and design office, and a plant are in Nuremberg, Germany. The company has a quality & administration office in Qingdao, a sales office in Shanghai, China, and a sales office in Honk Kong. Newly founded US sales office in New Jersey. It is managed by Sophie IVENS, Chief Executive Officer, following 5 fundamental values: Agility, Responsibility, Innovation, Solidarity, Excellence.
