London Packaging Week was first launched over 10 years ago and is the meeting place for suppliers, designers and buyers within the capital. Running over two days it’s divided into four targeted areas, Packaging Premiere, PCD, PLD and Food and Consumer Pack.
The Lyte Packaging stand was situated in the heart of Packaging Premiere and showcased new samples to customers within the luxury accessories, fine foods and high-end retail sectors. Listening to customers’ requirements for sustainable packaging, we demonstrated our solutions not only have the benefit of being customisable but also being kind to the environment, using paper from well managed sources, including agricultural by-products.
We showed that premium luxurious packaging can be made without using plastic and can be easily recycled. We had lots of interest in space-efficient collapsible boxes that assemble without self-adhesive and close without needing magnets, they can even be reused, stored flat or recycled.
As ever, non-plastic alternatives to moulded fittings were popular. Our high-quality, moulded pulp solutions are designed to replace plastic vac-forms. They look amazing, perform just as well and can be recycled along with the box.
