CEO
The cornerstone of Cyrile Deranlot’s work is how innovation can fuel creativity while taking into account resource management.
A specialist in materials science, Cyrile Deranlot was a research engineer at the CNRS for almost 20 years. A member of Albert Fert’s team, winner of the 2007 Nobel Prize in Physics, he developed innovative machines and materials for the electronics of tomorrow.
One of the materials he invented will turn out to be the whitest 18-carat gold in the world. After an entrepreneurial education at HEC, Cyrile Deranlot left research to found Daumet in 2016. This company aims to transform our use of precious metals through materials and processes that are less greedy for rare resources.
