LIFE MATRIX HAUTE REJUVENATION CREAM

FINALIST

Life Matrix Haute Rejuvenation Cream

The big objective was to develop a fully recyclable solution in anticipation of PPWR. This is why we have created a “”mono-material”” packaging but still in a very selective and luxury way.

In addition the particular shape, has put the development in front of big challenges and opened some new doors for non-conventional, technical solutions what are not commonly used in the packaging industry up to now.

FINALIST

Double Serum

The brief for the development of the Double Serum 9th generation centered on several key objectives and constraints. The innovation project aimed to create a dual-phase serum delivered simultaneously in varying proportions, mixed directly by the end user.

It required an actuator capable of providing an adjustable and continuous dosage, ranging from maximum output to a locked position. The design also mandated the removal of the cap, a reduction in environmental impact, and the elimination of the three-color visual effect seen in the Double Serum 8.

Additionally, the product needed one phase to be in suspension within the other and required the inclusion of invisible dip tubes for a seamless aesthetic.

Make-up

FINALIST

Lancôme - Teint Idole Ultra Wear - Bronzer en Poudre

The pack successfully fulfilled the brief by incorporating several technical innovations that addressed key challenges. To prevent sink marks, the design featured two external pieces—a cover and a base—with consistent thickness, serving as aesthetic shells. The functional components were handled by the inner cover and inner base, which were concealed and assembled using ultrasonic welding. Achieving a pleasant click sound required extensive testing with various thicknesses and shapes. Additionally, to ensure a premium, compact design, the decoration employed a lacquering process to create a sophisticated turtle-shell effect.

Dior Forever Skin Perfect

FINALIST

Dior Forever Skin Perfect

The oval design was the first challenge : the development of a full specific oval mechanism with a strong expected functionality was worked with our marketing team

To address the refillability aspect, we developed a mechanical attachment system for the fullfilled mechanism in the bottom of the base (a mechanical attachment that has been adjusted to be detachable by the customer).
The third challenge overcome was the requirement for a sealed package to protect the formula: a sealing ring around the oval perimeter has been drawn . We have also worked a strong experimental design on different plastic material in order to select appropriate polymer – Finally all plastic part has been made in PET.

DAISY WILD MARC JACOBS

FINALIST

Daisy Wild Marc Jacobs

The stems were attached to the bottle rather than the pump, allowing the pump to be removed for refilling. A “sealtight” system was used to snap the accessory onto the bottle, ensuring perfect airtightness. To maintain uniformity, the accessory was oriented to align the stems consistently across all bottles, supported by a glass neck with a vertical groove. The assembly of the glass bottle and accessory was delivered ready for filling. Materials and masterbatch were custom-developed to be fully compatible with Marc Jacobs fragrances. Additionally, the dip tube was designed with the same green color and diameter as the stems, creating the impression of a flower stem integrated seamlessly into the design.

Anatomy Of Dreams - La Collection Valentino

Anatomy of Dreams is the idea of getting inside the anatomy of a dream product, where stud, transparency and simplicity combine to sublimate luxury. Initially, Marketing presented us with designs with complex reliefs, which we planned to make using plastic injection moulding. Finally, after many iterations, the bonnet designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli, Valentino’s designer at the time, became a piece covered in studs, and we took the crazy gamble of making it in glass.

ANATOMY OF DREAMS - La Collection Valentino
Bottega Veneta Parfum Collection

FINALIST

Bottega Veneta Parfum Collection

The brief for the pack was to create a bottle that is a true work of art, blending aesthetics with innovation. Inspired by the art of Murano’s mouth-blown glass, the bottle features an organic shape resembling lagoon waves and incorporates small bubbles in the glass, making each piece unique. It is set on a base of green Italian marble, echoing Venetian architecture. The cap, crafted entirely without plastic, combines wood and cork for a sustainable design. Aligned with Kering’s Sustainability Principles for Beauty, the bottle was designed to be refillable, requiring a screw neck—a particular challenge given the leakage risks associated with bubble glass.

LA COLLECTION RABANNE

FINALIST

La Collection Rabanne

To begin with, we were asked to develop a very square bottle with the sharpest possible angles. An accessory was needed to adorn the perfume, with the particularity that it had to cover each side of the glass while framing the front and back of the bottle. On the sides of the frame, two gold plates were needed to create the iconic contrast of the gold and silver finishes. On these plates, we were asked to stamp the names and ingredients of each fragrance.

Les Nécessaires à Parfums Cartier – Boîtier Panthère Cyprès & Boîtier Points Verts

The panther walking in front of cypress trees is an emblematic pattern of Cartier. It is reminiscent of the Persian garden, a major motif of the Oriental iconography which has been a foremost source of inspiration for Cartier since the beginning of the 20th century. Its first appearance registered within the Cartier archives dates back to 1917, on a vanity case Louis Cartier offered to Jeanne Toussaint. This piece is all the more remarkable as it displays the first figurative representation of the feline within the Maison’s production – earlier creations only highlighted stylised versions of the animal’s coat.
