Press release | Easyfairs and FEA announce partnership to further develop ADF as the world’s leading aerosol innovation event
Leading international aerosol federation FEA will combine its long-standing biennial Global Aerosol Events with ADF in Paris from January 2023 edition.
Paris and Brussels, 13 June 2022 – Easyfairs, the leading international exhibition organiser, and FEA, the European Aerosol Federation, today announce a major new partnership to develop the future of the annual aerosol and dispensing systems exhibition ADF.
Under the agreement, FEA will play a crucial role in developing the conference programme for the event as well as marketing the exhibition to visitors and potential exhibitors through its extensive global network. FEA and ADF will also collaborate on the future development of their respective awards programmes.
FEA is a federation of 28 national aerosol industry associations both in Europe and around the world who represent the full supply chain for aerosol development and production
It has, since 1959, organised the FEA Global Aerosol Events as a biennial event. The 30th edition of the exhibition and conference will take place on 21 & 22 September 2022 at the FIL (Feira Internacional de Lisboa) in Lisbon, Portugal. From January 2023, the event will be combined with ADF in Paris to create a single annual event focused on the aerosol and dispensing supply chain.
Urs Hauser, FEA President, said: “We are very pleased to join forces and combine our reach together with ADF and Easyfairs. The aim of FEA is to provide essential insights in key issues affecting the aerosol industry and to create outstanding networking opportunities to brand owners, fillers, and suppliers.
“Thanks to this partnership with ADF and Easyfairs we have the opportunity to offer the aerosol community an annual event where they can network and discuss the latest trends in a wider business environment.”
“The ADF team will also be present at FEAerosol2022, -the 30th edition of our exhibition and conference on the 21 and 22 of September 2022 at the FIL (Feira Internacional de Lisboa) in Lisbon, Portugal. It will be a perfect moment and destination to celebrate this partnership together with the worldwide aerosol community.”
Matt Benyon, CEO of Easyfairs UK & Global, said: “It is a great honour for us to be working with the FEA and we look forward to a long and successful partnership. We share a mission to develop and drive innovation in the global aerosol market and we will be more effective in fulfilling this mission by working together and sharing our expertise and resources.
“The FEA Global Aerosol Events has a wonderful heritage and we are looking forward to combining its best elements with the best elements of ADF to create a truly world-class event for the aerosol and dispensing market.”
ADF launched in 2007 and is part of Paris Packaging Week, which attracts more than 600 exhibitors and 10,000 participants each year.

About the FEA
FEA (European Aerosol Federation) is a federation of 28 national aerosol industry associations both in Europe and around the world who represent the full supply chain for aerosol development and production and is firmly established since 1959.
In the 60s, the creation of European Economic Community was the catalyst for aerosol manufacturers to work together to defend their interests at a supranational level. A ‘Commission’ within FEA was in charge of examining aerosol issues and adopting measures which later formed the basis for a European Directive related to aerosol dispensers.
In the 70s, a European information centre on aerosols (FEAC) was created in Brussels to inform aerosol manufacturers about the legislative issues within the European Community. With the enlargement of the European Union, the FEA Offices were transferred to Brussels, Belgium at the beginning of the 80s and FEA became an international association.
Today FEA acts by supporting projects and policy development together with its members and the EU Institutions, and by exchanging information in and beyond its network.
FEA provides essential insights into the key issues affecting the aerosol industry and organises outstanding networking opportunities for brand owners, fillers and suppliers to discuss the latest trends and wider business environment. This year’s networking opportunity is FEAerosol2022 held on 21st and 22nd of September 2022 at the FIL (Feira Internacional de Lisboa) in Lisbon, Portugal.
