Lucas Zubillaga

Lucas Zubillaga, CTO, leads the development of Rise’s technology with George by
simulating process components and writing up technical documentation. He also spearheads
the feedstock sourcing strategy, searching for the optimal waste streams and developing
relationships with plastic waste producers. Lastly, Lucas oversees the development of our pitch
slides, providing an interface for potential investors and partners. Lucas carries a depth of
previous experience and industry knowledge having worked at Avangrid and Argonne National
Laboratory. He has a background in nuclear waste management; his research was recently
presented at the 6th International ATALANTE Conference on Nuclear Chemistry for Sustainable
Fuel Cycles.
