After 15 years of research, PIGM’Azur has created and developed natural, unique and eco-designed pigments.
An innovative technology inspired by the Mayan civilisation offers solution to improve the various locks encountered with natural pigments. This patented technology can be summarized in one sentence: “the protection of organic colouring molecules by a controlled natural encapsulation”. This innovation makes it possible to obtain a range of pigments that are up to 100% natural, with numerous advantages: a wide range of colours, improved resistance to external aggressions (UV, chemical, thermal, etc.) and dispersibility in several media (water, oils, polymers, solvents, etc.). These pigments have been tested in numerous polymers at different temperatures and subjected to UV tests. This technology could be the key to colouring the the bio-based plastics, paper and many other packagings in the future.
