Thirst pays homage to brooklyn with Breuckelen distillery bottle
The Breuckelen distillery packaging, designed by Thirst, captures the essence of Brooklyn with an embossed design of the number ‘77’, inspired by the brass plaques on the Brooklyn Bridge and symbolising the distillery’s address.
Since 1898, the constant transformation of Brooklyn has inspired every aspect of the design, marrying the iconic features of the neighbourhood with a bold modernity. Inspired by the brass plates of the Brooklyn Bridge, the typographic and tactile approach combines an industrial aesthetic with refined craftsmanship, creating an ambience that is both elegant and raw.
The number 77, the central element of its design, draws the eye with a strong presence. The choice of materials, print finishes, pronounced relief and rough texture of the cap reflect the hard-working, authentic spirit of Brooklyn.
