PA Consulting and Searo Labs team up to develop seaweed-based alternatives to plastic

The partnership aims to accelerate the use of these eco-friendly materials in consumer products and packaging across the food, personal care, and home care sectors.

Its materials are food contact safe, home compostable, and offer controllable moisture, texture, optical clarity, and heat sealability.
