Purple Holding’s new aerosol solution: “absolutely perfect” for the environment

Founded by Mikael Sahlström and Kenneth Hagman, the company’s Plug-in Can (PIC) system aims to make a big difference in sustainability. The PIC system replaces the metal mounting cup and rubber gasket with a stabiliser, which simplifies the can-filling process and reduces environmental impact.

Chairman Jan Ohlinder and Marketing & Finance Manager Andreas Sahlström explain, “The valve uses an injection moulding technique, and we’ve designed the stabiliser to include traditional valve parts already produced on a large scale.”
