Interparfums goes Ikonik for new Karl Lagerfeld fragrance packaging
Interparfums has added to its Karl Lagerfeld fragrance lineup with Karl Ikonik, a pair of eaux de parfum. The flacons manufactured by Heinz Glas reproduce the silhouette of the late fashion designer.
In a bold move away from traditional fragrance packaging, Karl Lagerfeld (Interparfums) took inspiration from the shape of the fashion designer himself for its latest launch, Karl Ikonik. The men and women’s fragrance duo brings “real newness to the category,” with a much-needed dose of audacity at a time when fragrance launches continue to multiply, affirms Interparfums Marketing Director Marie-Astrid Berruyer. While the packaging is designed to target younger consumers, Interparfums also has ambitions to reach a wider audience with this launch.
