In November 2022, the United States went through their mid-term elections. In recent years, particular attention has been paid to the materials and chemicals used in the manufacture of food contact materials (FCM). LEREM is supporting the actors of the FCM industry who wish to increase their efforts in the research of non-intentionally added substances (NIAS). The identification of unknown substances, migrating from FCMs, will allow packaging manufacturers to confirm that their products are compliant with current regulations and will help them to comply with regulatory changes.

Beyond the spray – what can science teach us about compressed gas aerosols?
- 25 January
- 1:50pm - 2:15pm

In a world where sustainability is the number one priority, aerosols are endangered both by new regulations concerning COVs & by the GWP of the gas it contains. Compressed gas aerosol has become a challenging research subject, to achieve the highest consumer experience possible while offering a product with less environmental impact. After two years of scientific studies, it is about time to reflect about some noticeable discoveries concerning compressed gas sprays, and what is left to achieve.
