Spirit-Brothers reveals Celosa rosé tequila

Celosa is made from seven-year-old blue weber agaves cultivated in Jalisco, Mexico. During production, the tequila is kept in French oak red wine casks, which are said to give the spirit its distinctive pink hue.

“For this rosé tequila we wanted something that was very feminine, elegant and elevated,” Spirit-Brothers Founder Hugues Pietrini says of the packaging design.

The tall, bespoke bottle is produced by glassmaker Pavisa using semi-automatic production. “The main technical difficulty lay in achieving the push-up in the base of the bottle, which represents the ‘piña’, or heart, of the blue agave,” the glassmaker explains. The punt is lacquered pink and the bottle’s decoration is screenprinted. The bottle is topped by a marble cap handmade by a Mexican artisan.
