R&D Manager
Victor HUART is a Packaging Engineer, graduated from ESIReims (ex ESIEC) in 2012, and a PhD in Process Engineering, since 2016, specialised in transport safety and industrial risk.
During his research, Victor worked, among others, on the estimation of fatigue damage by spectral method related to transport vibrations, and on the reduction of simulation time in the laboratory.
In 2015, he was awarded the IAPRI (International Association of Packaging Research Institute) Most Promising Research Award.
Today, Victor HUART is in charge of the Research and Development department within the Metropack laboratory. He carries out scientific audits of distribution circuits and works with a team of PhD students on new methods of analysis and simulation of the physical and climatic constraints of these circuits.
In parallel to his activity in the Metropack laboratory, Victor is a publication judge in scientific journals such as Packaging Technology and Science, and a member of the AFNOR (Association Française de Normalisation) packaging commission.
