Studio Guild reimagines Morello Whisky packaging with elegant cherry wood design

Inspired by the Morello cherry variety, its design highlights the whisky’s aromatic profile—cinnamon, chocolate, and cherry—and evokes its aging in cherry wood casks.

The label, made of wood veneer, offers a unique texture and captivating design, with the name “Morello” subtly hidden among tree trunk patterns, inviting the consumer to engage with the product.

Black printing on the wood creates an elegant aesthetic. Its gold foil leaves are added through hot stamping. Layered labels and a collar with the evocative message—“Can you see the wood for the trees?”—add depth and storytelling to the overall design.
