Heineken removes its name from its cans
The brand replaces its name on its metal cans in supermarkets with the word “Recyclable” to raise consumer awareness of the importance of sorting.
To celebrate its 150th anniversary, Heineken has chosen to promote more environmentally-friendly consumption habits. Its aim: to encourage consumers to sort this infinitely recyclable container.
“Heineken is committed to reducing its environmental impact. We know that our packaging is the main source of carbon emissions. This launch is part of a more global plan for Heineken’s 150 years, to support the most virtuous formats, whatever the moment of consumption: at home, on takeaway, in a café…“, says Yoann Hellot, marketing manager international brands at Heineken.
