Boucheron unveils its first eco-designed cases

Jewellery house Boucheron develops its CSR strategy with a new packaging initiative.

Seven of the prototypes produced will be launched on the market. The cases are made from aluminium and certified wool felt, as these are natural, traceable and recyclable materials. The boxes are twice as light than those produced in the past and are designed to simplify the recycling process.

The design is inspired by an 80s beauty kit and the Place Vendôme. The gift pack is a cotton pouch made from 65% recycled material and can be used as a travel pouch.

“No pack is the new pack”, states Hélène Poulit-Duquesne, Boucheron’s CEO.

The company aims to reduce its environmental footprint by 40% by 2025.
