CFA releases French aerosol production figures for 2022

The results have finally been disclosed, and the CFA stated that production of aerosol dispensers in France grew by 8.7% in 2022 (649,78 million units vs 598 million units in 2021). This increase saw production levels return to its 2018 level (648 million units), representing nearly 1,300 aerosols filled per minute. The CFA also stated that filling activities in 2022 indicated a return to normalcy following the Covid-19 pandemic, which has hampered the profession since 2020. Yet, the French aerosol dispenser business “maintains a strong position in Europe,” as will be shown by numbers released by the European Aerosol Federation (FEA) in September 2023.
