Prada launches sustainable fine jewellery collection

Eternal Gold is a 50-piece genderless collection that focuses on the heart, the chain and the snake, which, according to Prada jewellery director Timothy Iwata, aims to give “contemporary meaning and relevance to classic shapes.” Not only is Eternal Gold Prada’s first fine jewellery collection, it is also made from 100% recycled gold, pushing the boundaries of the fine jewellery market. The pieces are also peppered with pavé diamonds, which are entirely certified, verifiable and traceable. “Transparency is the benchmark of sustainability,” asserts Iwata, referencing an authentication card that is included with every purchased fine jewellery piece.
