Smurfit Kappa launches paper tube drinks pack

The paper packaging specialists claim its Eco-Tube is 100% recyclable within normal consumer recycling schemes and targets premium spirits markets. It was devised under the Smurfit Kappa Better Planet Packaging initiative.

According to the brand, “When The Clydeside team first came to us, they wanted the traditional values of tube packaging including strength and shelf presence. The opportunity to have all this as a fully recyclable option was exactly what they were looking for”.

This pack was the was the first branded Eco Tube Smurfit Kappa launched to market. With this design, the product is carefully protected and stands out on shelves and in stores. In their design, Clydeside Distillery reflected the maritime history of Glasgow, which is truly representative of their brand and product.
